The ROSHI/BRAINLINK is the newest generation in neurofeedback equipment and is the only device available that combines both conventional cognitive biofeedback and photostimulation technology. This combination, plus the capability of instantaneous, real time feedback is what makes the ROSHI/BRAINLINK protocols unique. These features allow the therapist to stimulate and train the brain in ways that are simply not possible with any other technology. This translates into faster progress for the client and, in the case of peak performance work, results so far unmatched by any other system.

One of the most popular units in our neurotherapy inventory of devices is the Roshi. Developer Chuck Davis calls the Roshi a tool to shift consciousness and quiet the mind in a way that is similar to that seen in mediation. Many people remark after using the Roshi that they feel unusually quiet and clear headed. The unique stimulation system allows for relative long periods of stimulation using either visible light or magnetic pulsations. The Roshi stimulation can also be combined with EEG biofeedback either using it's own software or in tandem with other software packages.

Several practitioners have developed very effective protocols for using the Roshi with different conditions. The following summary by D. Corydon Hammond Ph.D. describes the response of clients to treatment with the Roshi as follows:

"The very first Roshi session produced positive changes, and within five sessions the patient reported feeling less depressed and more energetic. At the conclusion of thirty training sessions, objective testing documented dramatic reductions in depression, somatic symptoms, overemotionality, anxiety, rumination, and fatigue that describes the use of the Roshi with depression." Carolyn Robertson is a certified Neurotherapist. She is not a licensed physician. EEG-Neurofeedback services are not licensed by the State of California and are considered alternative or complementary to healing arts services that are licensed by the State of California. EEG-Neurofeedback services involve learning to change your own behavior utilizing feedback to modify your brain wave patterns. That feedback is provided by equipment that monitors and shows brain wave activity. The theory of treatment of EEG-Neurofeedback services is based on 40 years of research conducted in university settings across the country and outside the United States. EEG-Neurofeedback is a combination of operant conditioning and biofeedback. Further explanation can be found on this website.
