[return to Technology Main]

Chuck Davis has recently introduced a new Roshi device that allows for powerful neural stimulation without need for actual EEG recording. This new device, called the pRoshi, appears to be useful in shifting the connectivity of different regions of the brain and produces a general sense of quiet centering.

The pRoshi can be used in conjunction with many of our other therapuetic modalities (like  Hemoencpalography) where it can significantly boost the brains ability to perform at an optimum level.

Read How The pRoshi Works, a brief description of the conceptual underpinnings underlying how the pRoshi works written by  Michael Gismondi, a neurotherapist who has used the pRoshi extensively.

Read The Personal Roshi, by Siegfried Othmer, PhD, a scientist who has carefully followed the development of EEG related technology.

Carolyn Robertson is a certified Neurotherapist. She is not a licensed physician. EEG-Neurofeedback services are not licensed by the State of California and are considered alternative or complementary to healing arts services that are licensed by the State of California. EEG-Neurofeedback services involve learning to change your own behavior utilizing feedback to modify your brain wave patterns. That feedback is provided by equipment that monitors and shows brain wave activity. The theory of treatment of EEG-Neurofeedback services is based on 40 years of research conducted in university settings across the country and outside the United States. EEG-Neurofeedback is a combination of operant conditioning and biofeedback. Further explanation can be found on this website.
